Welcome to [community profile] foodlogging!

What is the purpose of this community? To provide a forum in which people may track their food and liquid intake; count calories or Weight Watchers points or practice some other form of "intake moderation"; monitor their blood sugar; ask questions; post tips for successful food tracking or weight loss; and most importantly provide encouragement to fellow food loggers.

What it is not: a substitute for professional medical advice about weight loss. Nor is it a place for criticism about other people's food or lifestyle choices.

I made some minor changes to the community profile. Any comments or suggestions are, of course, welcome.

Er, it got busy today. An East Coast friend was in town, so we had some breakfast and then I had chores.

Breakfast:
- Peet's medium Americano with half and half
- Peet's blueberry muffin and a maple nut scone (oops)

Lunch:
- Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich (plain) with waffle fries and a Diet Dr. Pepper

Dinner:
- Five Guys Burger & Fries little hamburger with grilled onions, lettuce, and mayo; some Sprite Zero Grape; half of an order of Little Fries

The upside is that I didn't snack. The downside is my food choices weren't all that great. ;)

We're trying to make ice cream at the moment. :D

Anybody up for a challenge next week? At least 64 oz of water a day starting on Monday? Winners get to be awesome.

Old article, but some helpful tips on increasing your water intake. My current method is time-oriented -- I try to have 32 oz before lunch, 32 oz after.

I don't know about drinking a glass of water before I go to bed, though. Seems like it would just make me need to get up in the middle of the night. ;)

Any thoughts on how to make this recipe more calorie friendly? I could use margarine instead of butter, I guess. And Splenda For Baking instead of sugar?

Of course, that would require thinking more than five minutes before I eat that I'm going to eat...
